About the Pre-Medical Society
Welcome to the Pre-Medical Society! We’re a student organization at UTSA dedicated to helping students explore and prepare for a career in medicine. We aim to promote excellence in pre-medical scholarship by supporting students that want to pursue a medical career.

We host a variety of events to support students in their pre-medical journey, they include general meetings that feature guest speakers, usually medical doctors from various specialties, medical school tours, practice MCAT tests, social events, and volunteering opportunities. Our officers are always here to help navigate the medical school admissions process and any challenges students might face in their academic and college life. We’re excited, and look forward to supporting you every step of the way!

How to Join
Students are welcome to attend our events. However, these are the steps to becoming a member.
  1. Follow this link to fill out the membership form. The information is used to add students to the hours master sheet.
  2. Pay the membership dues (before Feb. 28th, 2025). Membership dues are $45 for New members and $35 for Returning members. Dues can be paid in-person by cash or card to Gloria Tran at general meetings. Dues can also be paid online (details on dues form). However, you must still fill out the dues form for your dues to count.
  3. Attend events!
